OHRIZON, the creative studio renowned for its storytelling, gaming and augmented reality tour solutions, presents CARTON, the first DIY cardboard augmented reality glasses.

With CARTON, children find intelligent new entertainment in museums, schools, hotels and at home. These glasses are a clever solution that can be easily implemented by anyone. Using a cell phone placed in the glasses, children can see the content augmented thanks to an optical trick (namelyPepper's ghost effect).
For hotels, museums and schools
CARTON eyewear has been extensively tested with children and schools to assess its educational and entertainment value. CARTON comes in the form of a pre-cut kit for assembly. They offer a different, enhanced way of discovering the site. A specially adapted educational kit has been designed for schools and leisure centers. Children can create their own augmented reality glasses using simple, accessible materials.
Designed to offer new augmented reality experiences at the lowest possible price, CARTON goggles improve the welcome and reception of children in hotels.
CARTON is the commercial version of the CARTON research program, developed with the universities of Quebec (Canada) and Le Mans (France).

CARTON presented at Vivatech with the ACCOR HOTELS group
CARTON augmented reality glasses have been selected by the ACCOR HOTELS to be presented on the hotel group's stand at VivatechEurope's leading start-up event.
If the ACCOR HOTELS is known for its hotels around the world, it is less well known for its policy of supporting innovation. Indeed, it encourages the emergence of new proposals designed to improve hotel hospitality. That's why these new DIY (Do It Yourself) augmented reality glasses have been chosen to be presented in Paris from May 24 to 26, 2018.
Other presentations are planned in France, Canada and French Polynesia. Mark your calendars:
